Wightlink’s Fastcat service between Ryde and Portsmouth has been hit with further disruption today (Tuesday).
The cross-Solent company have had to make some changes to the catamaran timetable to allow essential maintenance to be carried out on Wight Ryder II.
A frequent service with Wight Ryder I will still be in place and a charter vessel has been brought in until Wight Ryder II returns this afternoon.
Wight Ryder I will operate on sailings at 15 minutes past the hour from Portsmouth Harbour and 47 minutes past the hour from Ryde Pier. Wight Ryder II will return to service at 16:40 and the normal timetable will resume from this point.
A charter vessel will be used on the following sailings:
Tuesday 20 May
From Portsmouth: 07:40, 08:40
From Ryde: 07:10, 08:10, 09:10
The crossing time on the charter vessel will be approximately 25 minutes.
