29-year-old Reece Chilcott has pleaded guilty to robbing a convenience store in Newport on Boxing Day 2019, as well as possessing an offensive weapon.
Chilcott stole £365 in cash from Central Convenience Store at Hunnyhill on 26th December 2019.
During the incident, Reece – also known as Reece Sullivan – had a knife tucked in his waistband and made threats towards staff.
Appearing at Isle of Wight Crown Court yesterday (Thursday), Chilcott, of no fixed abode, admitted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on 2nd November for sentencing.
