Bus operator Southern Vectis have switched over to a winter timetable this weekend, resulting in some changes to bus times across the Island.
Between Ryde and Newport, some early Route 9 buses operating prior to 08:00 have been retimed, while the Island Coaster will now only run once a day leaving Ryde Bus Station at 09:30.
It’s bad news for community bus users in Wootton, as from Friday the Route 34 16:40 weekday running will be withdrawn leaving the service just three journeys a day between the towns of Wootton and East Cowes, the last being 15:00 in the afternoon.
