Brading is holding its first ever Sale Trail on Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August 2020.
The Bank Holiday Weekend event is like a car boot but with people selling from their gardens and driveways instead.
Locals can pick up a free Sale Trail map from the Premier shop, Church Hall, stallholders or 18 Quay Lane and just follow the route to see what is for sale – and see the town’s scarecrows at the same time.
Everyone who has registered to sell will be displaying a registered resident seller sign.
A spokesperson for Brading Residents Association says:
“Brading has lots to offer with many beautiful walks, downland, river and marshland and picnic places are aplenty. We are not just a drive through town”.

Enjoy such whilst you are able. For when Pennyfeather, Bullen etc is filled to capacity with the dregs of mainland city overspill, then such will be likely taking items from gardens without paying or having a special day to do so. Sadly won’t be just restricted to gardens either.
The Island, as we know it will be ruined, not for a while, but forever.
Hopefully this estate will not be built due to public opinion, councillors & even BS our great MP is against this, so let’s see if they will actually object to it!
What a good idea maybe other villages will do the same too …
Capital idea – lets have one in Freshwater
What about giving it to charity x
Some people do exactly that!!….. by giving the proceeds to a charity
Wish them well for the weather on all 3 days. Novel idea. Good luck!
