The Beach Hut Seafood Bar & Kitchen at Forelands Beach in Bembridge is hosting an ‘Island Living’ themed fashion show in aid of the Dementia UK Admiral Nurses (IW) Appeal on Saturday 11th June.
Selected retailers on the Island have generously donated fashion pieces for the 5 models to wear, which will be auctioned on the day by Ron Holland for the Dementia UK Admiral Nurses IW Appeal. Those donating outfits are: Bayliss & Booth, MIA, The Old Smithy, Visual Impact, Sugar & Spice, Bellissima, My Funky Bags, Rapanui, Mint & Wight, and Marks & Spencer.
Each outfit will be accessorised with items donated to WOW/Wight Dash, with the help of chair Lyndsay Hart, and when those items are sold, the money will go to that charity.
The compere will be Personal Stylist Nicola Dyke, Founder of ‘All About the Outfit’, who will talk about the featured garments, the retailers, and give styling tips. There will also be a rail of preloved clothes available for purchase at the event.
Lady Sally Grylls, said:
“The Tea-party hosted by Emma Guy and the Fashion Show being masterminded by Alison Child and Dee Becker at the Bembridge Beach Hut Seafood Bar & Kitchen will feature attractive wearable clothes and accessories. This unique event is in aid of the charity Dementia UK, Admiral Nurses IW. Admiral Nurses gives such crucial support to family and carers living through the journey of dementia.
