3 East Cowes Vics players from Newport’s Pan Estate – Jimmi Burton, Harrison Catania and Brandon Hayward – have signed for Wessex Premier League club Cowes Sports FC.
Jimmi Burton was Vics’ leading scorer this season with 21 goals from 32 games.
Cowes Sports announced:
“Jimmi Burton is a Yachtsman. After a few years of chasing him, we finally have our man. A proven goal scorer and a great lad, we can’t wait to see him in the blue and white. He will be a great asset and a new fans’ favourite.”
Jimmi said:
“I can’t wait. I’m really excited for the challenge.”
Midfielder Harrison Catania will be joining Jimmi at Westwood Park in the forthcoming season. Harri has made 23 appearances for Vics this season.
Cowes Sports said:
“Harrison will provide much needed physicality and industry in our midfield and knows how to drive a team forward.”

The 3rd new singing announced by Cowes Sports this weekend is ball-winning midfielder Brandon Hayward.
Cowes Sports have said:
“Brandon will cover every patch of grass for the cause and is a box-to-box midfielder. He will bring something different to an already bolstered side ready to push on and improve on this season’s finish.”
Earlier this season, former East Cowes Vics defender Henry West joined Cowes Sports from Vics. Yachtsmen Aedan Coode and Jez Conway have also crossed the Medina after spells with the East Cowes club.
Cowes Sports have stated they will be announcing further signings for the new season over the forthcoming week.
