Tesco petrol station in Ryde is closed this morning (Wednesday) due to a technical fault.
Engineers have been called in to resolve the situation, which developed sometime yesterday morning.
A spokesperson for Tesco said:
“We have no ETA at the moment, and are waiting for the arrival of an engineer.
“The petrol station will be closed until further notice.”
The nearest alternative 24 hour petrol station is Asda in Newport. The nearer alternative during normal hours is Westridge Garage.
UPDATE @ 14:42 – Tesco Petrol Station has now re-opened to motorists.

Likely need to add an extra digit as fuel prices increase to make the most of the oil, before electric takes over. God knows what price that will be, as the Gov need to raise taxes to cover the loss on fuel duty.
