A 33-year-old man from Shanklin has been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into child sex offences.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that the arrest was made on suspicion of arranging/facilitating the commission of a child sex offence and causing/inciting a child aged between 13 and 15 to engage in sexual activity.
Due to the nature of the investigation, no further detail on the exact location of the arrest has been made available.
The man has been bailed with conditions until the 16th June as investigations continue.
