Police stopped and seized a vehicle for having no insurance on the forecourt of Sainsbury’s petrol station last night (Tuesday).
Officers clocked the Ford Focus and performed a number of checks at Foxes Road in Newport, resulting in bad news for the driver.
The unnamed driver can now expect points on his licence and a fine for the offence of driving a motor vehicle without insurance, as well as recovery costs on top should he wish to reclaim the vehicle.
The car was taken away on the back of a tow truck.

About time the police started taking these uninsured motorist off the road
Scrap the car and disqualify the driver for a year this would stop no insurance.
