The Phoenix Choir are to hold a fundraising concert at Holy Trinity Church in Bembridge on Saturday 26th October to raise funds for important restoration work.

The Friends of Holy Trinity Church are currently working towards generating enough money to carry out restoration work required to the stonework of the original 5 windows and a door on the south side of the church.

The quoins (cornerstones) are crumbling badly and specialist work is needed to clean the loose/friable material and old cement render to the window cills and window reveals. The cleaned areas will then be rendered or refaced with lime plaster or mortar as appropriate. The work will be undertaken by G J Banks of Cowes.
