Newport U16 quad rowers – William Loveday-Powell, Connor Garner, Boris Hare, and Hayden Tiffin, coxed by Marianna Hare – won their straight final early in the day at the Itchen Regatta on Saturday (17th September).
The U16 quad also made the final of the River 4 category – beating Worthing – but lost to Itchen Imperial in the final.
The double of William Loveday-Powell and Boris Hare made their final but lost out to a strong Lymington crew. Connor Garner and Boris Hare competed in the single sculls, each finishing 2nd in their heats.
