Officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) are appealing for information about the location 31-year-old Terenc Malja, who is wanted in connection with immigration offences.
Malja, who has links to the Isle of Wight, North London, Birmingham, Coventry and the Edinburgh area of Scotland, has been charged with conspiring to facilitate the commission of a breach of immigration law in connection with a SEROCU investigation.
A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Malja is white, 5ft 8ins tall, has short black hair with blue eyes. He speaks English with an Albanian accent and sometimes uses other names. He was last seen in Portsmouth in January 2021 and officers have been working to locate him.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Adam Knight, of SEROCU, has said:
“If you have any details about the possible whereabouts of Terenc Malja please report this immediately. If you believe you’ve seen him or have any information about where he may be please avoid approaching him and instead contact police.”
If you have any details about Malja’s whereabouts call Police on 101 quoting the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) investigation ‘Operation Segment’. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Albanian accent?? Thousands more of his chum arriving weekly.
I blame BREXIT, everybody else does.
At the time of the Brexit vote we were actually returning more asylum applicants (around 10,000) than were arriving per quarter (around 9000).
At the end of 2020 we were still seeing around 9000 arriving per quarter, but were returning only 3000.
So Brexit has done nothing to stop illegal migration and has made deporting those who arrive here illegally significantly harder.
It was pointed out at the time of the Brexit vote that claims that Brexit would reduce illegal migration were false and that Brexit would actually make matters worse. As a member of the EU we had the right to return illegal migrants to their country of entry (Dublin Regulation) We lost that mechanism in 2020 when we finally left the EU and “took back control”. We now have to handle all illegal migrants arriving in the UK ourselves.
Yet another example of “Project Fear” becoming “Project Told You So”.
It’s the legal system that’s stopping us deporting illegal migration, the system needs to change….
Ah, the political sheep, too many of you I’m afraid.
Sometimes you have to take two steps backwards, before taking four steps forward.
(from a labour voting brexit voter). No surrender !
Yet the thick and gullible on here always ‘defend’ such beings, especially if, as they usually do, they have a bunch of mini clones attached to them.
To stupid to see that they are only the ‘next’ generation of cost, trouble and ruination of the British way of life, not for a while, but forever.
THINK
probably out of the country by now – tip of a very large iceberg I”m afraid.
Does he drive an Audi
Contact 101? About as much use as the actual police
Exactly, would be nice if they answered the phone instead of long winded out of date recorded message. Government thinking of fines for comparison that don’t answer within 3 mins, want to get police and council’s in order 1st. Hampshire does this to stop you reporting crime as effect’s their figures etc .Try ringing MET police on 101-soon answer you .
Apparently 4 out of 10 illegal boat immigrants are albanian, mostly young males and most have direct links to crime and this government does nothing.
Yes that is true European law says the nearest country should take them not us we can’t even look after are own people
Yes, that is true, BUT WE ARE NOT IN EUROPE !
