Rookley-based JW Autoshine celebrated the official opening of their new studio on Sunday (20th October) following continued growth of the vehicle detailing business.
Established by Jason Wadsworth in 2007, JW Autoshine provides a no-compromise detailing service for cars, bikes and motorhomes of all shapes and sizes. The business initially operated as a mobile valeting service, but in 2016 the first permanent studio was opened on Pritchetts Way.
Now, following 3 years of exceptional growth and an expansion in the range of services offered, the firm has moved to a much bigger unit just up the road, also on Pritchetts Way. The new studio accommodates 7 cars internally with additional space outside for those exterior washes.
The keys were handed over on 10th September and since then lots of time has been invested in creating a welcoming, state-of-the-art, one-stop-shop for customers. The new studio, which has been specially illuminated for optimum working conditions, now boasts a comprehensive and dedicated retail area.
As part of the continued expansion of JW Autoshine, fellow Island-based business Pro-Touch Paintless Dent Repair has also moved into the new studio with a dedicated dent and scratch repair bay. This enables minor repairs to be made to a vehicle before it is detailed, leaving the customer with a fully enhanced vehicle throughout.
The bigger premises has already proved popular since opening to customers on 1st October. The open day was also a success with dozens of past, present and future customers enjoying a tour around the new facility with a wide variety of vehicles on display, alongside music, food and drink.

One of the original studio units is being retained for vinyl wrapping, in association with Vision Designs.
