Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes will be putting the kettle on at their new developments on the Island later this week as they open their doors for The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
A fundraising coffee morning will be held in Newport and East Cowes on Friday 27th September from 10:00 to 17:00 as the housebuilders bid to ensure that this year’s event is bigger and better than ever before.
Sales director Michelle Storer said the Macmillan Cancer Support event is a key date in the fundraising calendar and the 5-star housebuilders are delighted to be inviting people to join in with the fundraising efforts.
Michelle says:
“Cancer touches so many people’s lives and the coffee morning is a great way for everyone to get involved in the fundraising effort.
“Last year more than £26 million was raised through the coffee mornings and we hope to be part of the effort to break that barrier this year.’’
She said the concept of being involved in The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has captured the imagination of everyone within Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes…
“Our sales teams are all keen to host events for visitors and those who have already moved into our developments.’’
Barratt Homes’ staff will be inviting donations for coffee and cake on the day at St George’s Gate in Shide and Hawthorn Meadows in Whippingham. David Wilson Homes will be opening its doors at its St George’s Gate development.
