Wightlink will be operating a temporary timetable next Sunday (20th October) due to The Great South Run in Portsmouth.
As all roads around Portsmouth will be closed during the race, between 10:00 and 14:00, Wightlink will be operating from the Portsmouth International Port (PiP).
The operator will be unable to carry any foot passengers on any sailing arriving at or departing from the PiP – the 11:30 and 12:30 sailings from Gunwharf and the 10:00 and 11:00 sailings from Fishbourne. Passengers should use the Portsmouth-Ryde Pier Head FastCat service instead.
Those travelling with Wightlink should allow extra time for their journey, checking in at least 30 minutes before departure. If you are booked on the 10:00 sailing from Portsmouth Gunwharf you should arrive at 09:00 as the nearby roads will close at 09:30.
