Isle of Wight Modern and Classic Country Band, Blackfoot Daisy, are playing a charity concert at Gurnard Pines on Saturday 19th October.
The event is being held in aid of 2 Island charities – Kezi’s Kindness and The Lucie Blackman Trust.
Blackfoot Daisy play covers of new and classic country songs by artists such as The Shires, Dolly Parton, Dixie Chicks, Ward Thomas, Carrie Underwood. Consisting of Island music names, Tim Marshall, Sarah Searle, Joe Saunders, Jamie Woodford, Jenny White and Lucy Baker, they are an established band having played many festivals both here of the Island and on the mainland.
Kezi’s Kindness raises money for Island children who need a little help to make them smile, in memory of murdered 6-year-old Keziah Flux-Edmonds.
The Lucie Blackman Trust supports British nationals in crisis overseas, following a missing person, murder or other traumatic incident. It has helped many Island families.
