Wight Model Railway Group are hosting their annual ‘Wight Rail’ exhibition at Medina Leisure Centre in Newport this weekend (Saturday 2nd/Sunday 3rd November).
Layouts from ‘O’ gauge to ‘009’ Gauge will be on display including vintage Hornby sets, Santa’s Railway, Cowes Town and Northfield, to name a few.
Traders and preservation socieities will be on hand, with plenty of refreshments available too thanks to the Pullman Belles.
The doors will be open between 10:00-16:00 on both days. Entry £4 for adults with children going free (all children must be accompanied by an adult).
An art exhibition by Peter Allen will also feature.
Wight Rail is being held at Medina Leisure Centre on Fairlee Road, Newport.




























































































I didn’t realise there was a model railway group on the Island. …. so could the not save the Fort Victoria Model Railway ? It would be so sad to see it close and the whole thing sold off in bits and pieces ….
