39-YEAR-OLD ADMITS STRING OF DRIVING OFFENCES AFTER VENTNOR CRASH

39-year-old Jamie Mobley has admitted a string of driving offences following a crash in Ventnor on Friday, which left a scene of destruction.

Mobley, of no fixed abode, appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court this week and admitted offences including dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance and criminal damage.

As previously reported by Island Echo, emergency services were called to Newport Road in Upper Ventnor at 23:20 on Friday when a VW Golf crashed into 2 parked cars.

Magistrates remanded Mobley in custody over Christmas until 10th January 2020 when he will appear before the Isle of Wight Crown Court for sentencing.

Amazing that people don’t wait for him, who have had their cars, property and had their families lives put at great risk.

I do feel for those poor people but then again the world is a cruel place to be like they say hell on earth

loser to be fair he was probably drunk and he was a bit stupid to get caught
but at least the police are keeping the island moderately safe
