Cowes Sports – the Isle of Wight’s highest-ranked side and only Wessex Premier representatives – are searching for someone to take over the managerial hot seat at Westwood Park.
The club have been managerless since the resignation of former manager Max Draper on 12th September, following a run of poor form.
Club stalwart Ian Potts has taken charge of the first team until a permanent replacement can be appointed.
The Yachtsmen are currently 18th in the Wessex Premier table. Last Saturday saw the side pick up their first win of the 2024/25 campaign with a highly creditable 2-3 victory against a much fancied Stoneham side.
Cowes Sports announced yesterday evening (Wednesday):
“Cowes Sports Football Club invites applications for the post of First Team Manager.
“Working in line with the Committee Guidelines, the successful candidate will have full control of football matters throughout the club.”
Applications, in the strictest confidence, should be sent to:
Mr Ian Lee, Chairman,
61 Park Road,
