A 37-year-old man from Wootton has appeared in front of the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court accused of possessing thousands of sexual images of boys.
Stephen Goldsmith of Mary Rose Avenue entered no pleas to the 5 counts of possessing indecent photographs of a child, including both hard copies and images stored on memory sticks.
It’s understood that Mr Goldsmith was also the subject of a missing person search on Friday (23rd April).
He has been remanded in custody to reappear for a plea and trial management hearing at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 7th June 2020.
