To celebrate the start of the holidays, Wightlink has launched a competition to find the soundtracks to our Isle of Wight summer memories.
The ferry company will be giving away 5 pairs of Sony Bluetooth headphones to the owners of its favourite 5 suggestions.
Anyone who can suggest an iconic summer holiday song with special Island memories is invited to share their tune with Wightlink from now until 8th August and be entered into the headphone competition.
The songs will be compiled to create a ‘Wightlink: Sounds of the Summer’ playlist on Spotify. The finished playlist will be available to all, to create or recreate that iconic ‘summer on the Isle of Wight’ atmosphere, whenever, wherever.
To enter, simply post your song title, plus the artist, on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtags #islandstories and #wightlinktunes. The competition is open to everyone, so scroll through your music collection and get posting!
