Ryde Karting Company, WightKarting, has invested in 8 new go-karts specifically designed for the 8-11 year age group.
The 160cc, 7.5bhp Cadet Karts have been designed by Sodi to specifically suit the age group and will guarantee that they have dedicated karts to match their skill level.
The 8 new karts are speed restricted and come with adjustable seats and pedals to suit a wide range of heights. They have fully ergonomic racing steering wheels, bucket seats and full wrap around bumper protection, ensuring that all drivers get the full race experience whilst still being safe. The new karts are also fully equipped to work with the current DeHaart System that the track has in place, so that WightKarting’s track marshals can slow, or stop, karts on the track as a safety measure if required.
The additional kart stock will offer bigger children’s parties, school groups and scout groups – whilst also naturally increasing competition on the track, resulting in more exhilarating race days and faster track times.
