In the battle of the top 2 of Hampshire County Division 4, top-of-the-table Wight Eagles Ladies were held at home by Millbrook in a 10-goal thriller at Brighstone on Sunday 16th October.
The scorers for Wight Eagles were Susan Cullen (X2), Chloe Lloyd, Hannah Sartini, and Amber Dunne. Katie Rand picked up the player-of-the-match award.

After the game, manager Steve Spriggs Manager said:
“What a fantastic game today, played out by the division’s top two teams. A back-and-forth contest that didn’t stop for the whole 90 mins. The ladies dug deep and gave their all and were very unlucky not to take all 3 points. This team is getting better and better with every kick and every minute played, and I couldent be prouder of every single player we have here.”
The draw leaves Wight Eagles top of Division 4 with 14 points from 6 games, 1 point ahead of Millbrook Ladies, who have a game in hand.
Shanklin Ladies 4-1 Widbrook United Ladies
In Hampshire County Division 1, champions Shanklin added 3 points to their tally of the season by beating Widbrook United Ladies at the County Ground. The scorers for Shanklin were Sienna Brennan (x2) and Gemma Woodford (X2). Sienna took the player-of-the-match-award.
Shanklin are now 2nd in the Division 1 table, 1 point behind Eastleigh but with a game in hand on the leaders.
Cowes Sports Ladies 0-6 Gosport Borough Ladies
In Hampshire County Division 3, the Roes were badly beaten by top-of-the-table Gosport Borough at Westwood Park, their 1st defeat of the season to date.
Cowes Sports have now fallen to 4th in the table with 8 points from 5 games.
