This Friday (26th July), Ventnor Arts Club welcomes the amazingly glamorous and, as the name suggests, slightly surprising Miss Terri, best known as the host of London’s famous Madame JoJo’s Kitch Cabaret.
As anybody who has been to Madame JoJo’s over the years knows, it has a long standing reputation for staging the most glamourous and accomplished drag cabaret artistes in the country if not the world. Miss Terri is no exception. Along with her outstanding singing talents, Miss Terri is a visual chameleon. Her mesmerising vocal interpretations of divas from Liza to Kylie bring audiences to their feet; she has often been referred to by London critics as the definitive cabaret artiste. Now we have a chance to see a little of the West End glamour for ourselves. Its another example of the diverse programme being developed by the club which offers regular independent, world and classic films, range of live music styles and soon comedy. It is one of the key venues in the Ventnor Fringe Festival this summer.
The atmosphere in the club is expected to be ‘relaxed but glitzy’, food will be served throughout the evening along with a fine wine and cocktail list available from the former bank vault, now the Club’s bar.
Tickets are available directly from the Club, and can be booked by telephone on
01983 857060 or email [email protected] at a price of £12.00 for members and £15 for guests.
