Police are investigating 3 burglary reports relating to commercial premises in Ventnor over the weekend.
At some point between 05:00 and 05:30 on Saturday (19th August) someone smashed the glass at the entrance to Oceanblue Café on the Eastern Esplanade in Ventnor. Nothing was taken.
Also on 19th August, between 05:15 and 05:30, Paddingtons on Ventnor High Street was broken into and the till was stolen.
During the early hours of this morning (Monday), at sometime between 02:30 and 06:30, someone broke into Tramazini coffee shop on Ventnor High Street through the front door and stole the till.
Investigating officers are looking at whether any of these reports are linked and enquiries are ongoing. Members of the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be patrolling the area regularly and will be meeting with business owners at a meeting planned for later this month.
