Vectis Artisans, the Isle of Wight group of professional artists brought together by West Wight painter and tutor Murray Ince, are holding only their second joint exhibition of artworks in Ryde this week.
The event will take place from 10:00 until 16:00 tomorrow (Thursday 22nd August) until the following Wednesday (28th August) at the Presentation House Gallery, 55 High Street, Ryde (The Old Nunnery).
There will be paintings in oil, watercolour, and acrylic, sculptures in ceramic, and high-quality photographic work printed on canvas, from a variety of island professional artists including Murray Ince, Becky Samuelson, Kate Bolton, Tony Westmore, Malcolm Winter, Sheila Luke, Robert Jones, Brian Gilbert, Pamela Stirling, and Juliet Collins.
Vectis Artisans were formed earlier this year, and had their first joint exhibition at Quarr Abbey’s Gallery in June. The group is currently considering future plans for the coming year and beyond, and is hoping to establish Vectis Artisan exhibitions as a regular feature in the artistic life of the Isle of Wight.
All are welcome to the exhibition, and there is NO entrance fee.
