The giant inflatable Wightlink Ryde Slide will be returning to the Isle of Wight next year, with tickets for the fun-filled day now on sale.
The popular event – which sees a 200m slide inflated on Union Street in Ryde – will take place for the 4th year running on Sunday 22nd July 2018 between 10:00-18:00.
Following on from the success of last year’s format, the lottery has been scrapped for good and replaced with a simple £10 (+VAT) ticket, guaranteeing you a slide in front of the hundreds of spectators that are expected to gather.
Wightlink have once again joined forces with event organisers as title sponsors, helping to raise as much money as possible for the selected charities: Ryde Inshore Rescue, Aspire Ryde, Waterside Pool, Ryde Fire Station’s selected charity and the Ryde Arena Community Action Group. An incredible £5,000 was raised in 2016.
Isle of Wight Pride have partnered with Wightlink Ryde Slide for 2018 so it is bound to be the busiest and more successful slide since Ryde Slide was established in 2015.
