Pet owners on the Isle of Wight now have the option of getting a CT scan performed locally, rather than having to travel to the mainland, thanks to investment by The Mobile Vet.
The independent veterinary practice says they are proud to be the first Island vets to purchase and install a CT scanner.
Having access to a scanner locally means Islanders can avoid wasted time and unnecessary expense. Many pet insurance policies will also cover the cost too.
John Knight, Director at The Mobile Vet, has said:
“We always strive to push the boundaries of veterinary medicine and by investing in the best equipment we can provide the best care not just for our patients but by offering an outpatient CT scanning service to all island pet owners even if they are registered at other vets.”
If you would like to join the practice or require further information on the CT scanning service, you can either call their friendly reception team on 01983 212999 or register online at www.mobilevetsurgery.co.uk
