Local author and historian, Damon Corr, will be giving a talk at Binstead’s Holy Cross Church at the end of this week all about the fire service in years gone by.
The event titled ‘The Fire Service in Ryde and Binstead’ will begin at 19:30 this coming Friday (28th October).
Damon’s research and history are sure to make it a very interesting listen, especially with his comparable experiences of his time in the modern day fire service.
Tickets are £6 and include refreshments and are available at the door. Everyone is welcome.
