The sun shone bright as Whitfun kicked off on Saturday with many activities for children and adults from the village and the surrounding areas.
There were many activities on offer in the grounds of the Old Rectory including running races, games, face painting, hoola-hoop fun and a bouncy castle that the children loved. Whereas the adults enjoyed meeting new people from the village whilst drinking ales supplied by Yates and Goddards at special village prices.
Live music was supplied by Cherishport, who played from 15:00 and Jim Agnew played into the evening.
The rain stayed away for the Bank Holiday event, which included a BBQ in true Summer style.
