Wightlink will be running extra catamaran services during the popular Jack Up the 80s festival at Smallbrook Stadium on 12th and 13th August 2017.
The event features chart-topping stars including Jason Donovan; Alexander O’Neal; Nik Kershaw; Bucks Fizz; Right Said Fred and From The Jam and will be the second-largest festival on the Island this year.
Wightlink also supports Platform One who will be showcasing some of the Isle of Wight’s best up and coming young talent on a special stage which will host a range of music from acoustic acts, tribute acts and original bands.
The event will be at its new easy-to-get-to location Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde. Shuttle buses will be provided from Ryde Esplanade and there will be a designated taxi depot on site.

“Jack Up the 80s will be an amazing festival of up, happy, feel-good music from a variety of well-loved household names and we are delighted to get involved.
“Thanks to our special late sailings, festival-goers from the mainland will be able to stay late this year however, to be sure of getting a place onboard the late catamarans, they should book in advance.”
The extra sailings will be:
• Saturday 12th August: 23:30 and 00:45 from Ryde
• Sunday 13th August: 23:30 and 00:45 from Ryde
