St John Ambulance on the Isle of Wight is looking for new volunteer first aiders to join their small but vibrant team supporting events across the whole of the Island.
This comes with the opportunity to help with events on the mainland in Hampshire and further afield.

All the initial interview and training is planned to take place on the Island during February.
If people are interested in joining St John Ambulance but cannot commit to the dates for the Isle of Wight based training, there will be other opportunities throughout the year at various locations throughout Hampshire.
As a volunteer with St John, members are limited to just being first aiders, there are opportunities for training as advanced first aiders, emergency ambulance crew, communications staff, logistics staff, in fact, there is a wide range of opportunities available.
During 2019 their volunteers supported events as diverse as Cowes Fireworks, the Chale Show, Garlic Festival, Epsom Derby, Brighton Marathon and Southampton Football clubs home matches.
All training is free, they provide volunteers with a full uniform and all expenses around travel are met by St John.
