With the 2016 competitive rowing season over it was time for Ryde Rowing Club to celebrate this year’s success with their Annual Presentation Dinner, which took place at Yelfs Hotel on Saturday (15th October).
Club Captain Pete Allsopp welcomed members and guests and thanked them for their support of the club over the past year, with a special thanks to the club’s main sponsors, Wightlink. A further special thank you was given to the club’s guests of honour Ian Hill – and his partner Faye Gayle – of Churchers Bolitho Way, who this year supported the club’s fundraising efforts to purchase a new Minibus. They also presented a cheque to the club for £500 during the evening.
