‘The Festival has a wide community focus. Our Outreach Team has been out and about all over the Island this summer helping people create their own kites for the Festival. Over 200 kites, many made from Biodegradable materials and decorated taking inspiration from local Sea and Shore biodiversity, will be on display along professionally made kites. You can even make your own in the workshop tent if you don’t have one to bring along!”
Entrance to the festival, to be held on Saturday 21st September at Fort Victoria Country Park, nr Yarmouth, is free.
Please be aware there is limited car parking on site, but a free Park and Ride is being operated from Golden Hill Fort, with a free overflow car park at River Road from 11:15 for Kite Walkers only. The event runs from 11am to 4pm.
