Ryde Harbour has now re-opened to visiting vessels following last Wednesday’s boat fire.
Contractors and the Harbour Master have been working hard over the past few days to clear not only the burnt out wreckage, but litres of oil that had spilt into the water when the boat sunk last week.
A barge entered Ryde Harbour on Friday and lifted the 35ft Sealine motor cruiser out of the water.
Visting boats are being asked not to use the first part of the visitor’s pontoon as it is not usable due to the fire damage.
