Wightlink have announced that a revised timetable is to run on their catamaran service ‘until further notice’.
Mechanical problems with one of the Wight Ryder vessels is said to be the reason behind the cancellation of 2 crossings each day and the introduction of a charter vessel.
The 06:40 sailing from Portsmouth and the 19:15 sailing from Ryde Pier Head will not be operating. It is unknown how long the revised timetable will remain in force.

Wheelchairs, mobility scooters and customers with reduced mobility are being warned that there is restricted access to board sailings operated by Solent Cat and stairs may need to be used.
