REVISED PLANS FOR BRADING HOLIDAY LODGE SCHEME SUBMITTED

Revised plans for the construction of 60 holiday lodges, a health suite and a RSPB visitor centre on the outskirts of Brading have been submitted to the Isle of Wight Council this week.

IOW Eco Reserve Ltd. have made a fresh planning application to develop a new sustainable tourism and wetland enhancement project on land off Carpenters Road, which was once earmarked to become a golf course.

The new application has seen amendments made in respect to the 2-storey holiday units and the RSPB visitor centre. Further information has been supplied relating to the visual impacts, contaminated land and the flood risk.

Plans to development the location have been in place since October 2011.
