Disabled passengers, those with pushchairs and even large suitcases are currently unable to travel on Wightlink’s Fastcat service due to a technical issue.
A problem with the berth at Portsmouth Harbour means there is restricted access for passengers with additional needs or bulky items.
Customers using wheelchairs or mobility scooters, walking aids, pushchairs or those accompanied by bikes or large suitcases are being advised to travel on the Fishbourne-Portsmouth car ferry instead.
Wightlink says that the arrangements will remain in place until further notice with no estimated repair completion time given.

And again it just gets worse
Bring on the fixed link.
And all the extra cars we have no room for!
If you’re a go nowhere do nothing type of person you wouldn’t need a fixed link would you !!
