Despite the downpour of rain over the weekend, spirits remained high as Ryde Regatta ended with a firework finale at Appley Park last night (Sunday).
Thousands of people turned up for the 15-minute display of colour fireworks, which were set off from Appley Beach.
Yesterday’s sunshine rounded up the annual regatta perfectly, with a fantastic mixture of entertainment taking place in the park throughout the day and well into the evening.
Last night’s spectacular fireworks took to the skies at 22:00 and proved popular with those watching.
