Red Funnel has announced the appointment of Enterprise Rent-A-Car as its preferred car and van hire partner on both sides of the Solent.
Members of the public can now book a car or van from any Enterprise branch location worldwide using a quick and easy-to-use booking widget on Red Funnel’s website.
The exciting new partnership will deliver a host of benefits for millions of Red Funnel customers and, just as importantly, will help attract new visitors to the Isle of Wight.
What’s more, when booking a car from a branch location in Southampton (including Southampton airport) or Newport on the Island, members of the public will receive a 5% discount via Red Funnel’s website. The discount increases to 10% for My Red Funnel members logged-in to the membership area and using the widget to book car rental.
Van hire customers will also receive a 10% discount from any Enterprise branch in the UK when booking via the Red Funnel website.
To make cross-Solent journeys as easy as possible, Enterprise will arrange pick-up from Red Funnel’s terminals in Southampton or in East and West Cowes if customers tell them what time their ferry arrives.
The partnership also covers Enterprise Car Club, the hourly and daily rental service. Hot on the heels of its successful arrival in Southampton, Enterprise Car Club is now available in West Cowes as well as at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch in Newport. Located adjacent to Red Funnel’s Red Jet terminal, the self-service cars are available to hire 24/7, either by the hour or for the day, for one low rate.
