Summer is in full swing and so is the latest timetable for the mobile household waste recycling centre. The facility will once again be visiting a number of venues across the Island from August through to October.
The mobile facility will be visiting Niton again, having added the venue for the first time last month (July). The Isle of Wight Council, in partnership with Amey, are actively working together on identifying potential new venues, and should any additional towns or villages be confirmed, these will be announced later in the year.
The mobile household waste recycling centre has facilities to accept a large range of recyclable items, including small electrical items, plastic, cardboard and paper, lightbulbs and textiles. It will not accept garden waste or general mixed/black bag waste or wood.
The facility will be at each venue between 10:00 and 14:00. Please do not leave items at the venues outside of these times, as they will not be collected.
