THIS year’s Race for Life, due to be held on the Island on 29th July, has been cancelled due to the increasingly bad weather.
The annual run, which is held at Seaclose Park, has been cancelled after a meeting with members of Medina Leisure Centre, who manage the land.
It is understood that the ground is too waterlogged to be used on the proposed date. No alternative date has been planned for 2012.
