The Vectis Tavern in Cowes has stepped in to save the day in light of the recent bank closures in Cowes.
As previously reported by Island Echo, both locals and visitors alike have voiced their anger at the demise of the availability of cash facilities in the High Street following the closure of the last bank in the town, Lloyds.
In response to the problem, The Vectis Tavern has arranged the installation of a free, 24 hour cash machine. The secure machine has now been installed outside the premises close to the Red Jet terminal.
