Premier Ford, the Island’s Ford Store, is launching a special Motability Roadshow at Yarmouth C of E Primary School on Thursday 11th April.
This event is dedicated to the Motability Scheme so you can learn more about the leading car scheme for disabled people first hand.
Premier Ford’s dedicated Motability Specialists will be on hand to offer advice on getting a new car and any adaptations required to suit individual mobility needs. There will also be a number of new Ford cars on display that are available on the scheme to give customers a flavour of the Ford range.
Established to enable disabled people to access affordable, worry-free motoring, the Motability Scheme provides customers with a brand-new car as part of an all-inclusive lease package that offers insurance for 2 named drivers, servicing and maintenance, full RAC breakdown assistance, tyre and windscreen replacement and 60,000 mileage allowance over 3 years.
There are also many car adaptations on the Scheme including many available at no extra cost as part of Motability’s Managed Adaptations Programme. Customers only need to budget for fuel, any other consumables and any optional extras not fitted as standard to their chosen car.

The Motability Scheme is available to anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or the Armed Forces Independence Payment. The benefit is transferred to Motability as the lease payment for a car.
