The Isle of Wight Community Bus Partnership is on the look out for new volunteer drivers to operate a variety of bus services across the Island.
Set up in 2011, the partnership provides essential bus services to areas of the Island previously served by Wight Bus – routes off the main bus network but a vital connection for local residents.
In order to maintain the number of buses being operated each week, new drivers are being sought. No experience is needed, as long as you can spare 6 hours a week, hold a clean driving licence and are medically fit.
Driving the buses is said to provide an invaluable service to the community and provides the chance to learn a valuable skill.
