Red Funnel has launched a new club lounge offering on its East Cowes to Southampton route.
In a cross-Solent first, the brand new Signature Lounge gives travellers from both sides of the Solent the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive premium travel experience.
The Signature Lounge is now available daily on Red Falcon and Red Osprey sailings and can be purchased in advance or on-board from £10 per person per crossing. Accessed by boarding card, the new lounge on ‘A’ deck is fully air-conditioned and offers panoramic views of the Solent for up to 40 guests – although the number of guests is being lightly capped at around 30.
Although the new lounge has resulted in a loss of seating in what was the children’s area, it has been confirmed that new seating is to be installed on the main deck in the next few weeks which will result in an overall increase in the number of seats available, when compared to the previous arrangement.
The new lounge features a mix of contemporary seating styles and has a ‘nautical chic’ theme with subtle mood lighting. Connectivity is also taken care of with enhanced Wi-Fi, 240v mains sockets and USB charging points available.
Guests who choose to upgrade will have access to a well-stock library of magazines, newspapers and books plus complimentary tea and coffee, cold drinks and pastries. A fully stocked cash bar is also available as well as a dedicated food/bar service host.

The Signature Lounge can be booked in advance by phone 02380 019 192 and when booking online (from 29th May). The minimum age for the Signature Lounge is 12-years-old and pets are not permitted.
In addition, the Signature Lounge can be pre-booked in its entirety for special occasions with prices starting from £600 per crossing.
