The National Trust has confirmed that Bembridge Windmill, Bembridge Fort, Mottistone Gardens, The Needles Battery and Newtown Old Town Hall have been closed with immediate effect.
The safety and wellbeing of staff, volunteers and visitors is a top priority for the National Trust and therefore the decision has been taken to close each attraction.
Outdoor spaces – such as St Helens Duver – are still open and free to use but visitors are urged to follow government guidance on social distancing.
English Heritage has also decided to close its properties, as reported by Island Echo.
