Morrisons look set to bring their fleet of bright yellow vans to the Isle of Wight as they gear up to provide a home delivery service from their Newport store.
The national supermarket chain has applied to the Isle of Wight Council to make adjustments to the layout of the South Street building, making way for a brand new home delivery canopy in the rear yard.
Initial indications suggest there will be room for at least 3 vehicles.
It’s unknown when the proposed service will begin but it is subject to planning permission being granted.
Island Echo has approached Morrisons for a comment but is yet to receive a response.
