Missing East Cowes man Harry Stagg has been found safe and well on the Costa Del Sol some 2 months after going missing.
The 23-year-old was last heard from on 29th November and was due to spend Christmas with family in Spain, but he failed to arrive.
Worried family members have been appealing for help in locating Harry, without any luck. However, it has now been confirmed by The Olive Press that Harry has turned up at a Police station in Mijas – sporting a big beard.
It has been revealed that Harry has walked the majority of the way but did hitchhike at times. He did not know anyone was looking for him.
Harry was reunited with family members yesterday evening (Tuesday).

Probably ran out of money!
good to hear he’s safe & well
shame he didn’t consider that his friends & familly might be worried,… not hearing from him for weeks
So, he was due to spend Xmas with his family, he then rocks up a month later and he doesn’t know what all the fuss is all about. He’s either completely thick, or exceptionaly selfish.
Or that he’s a grown man and has a life
Good summary, Steve
Except last sentence, in my opinion,
I don’t know anyone on this forum… But
Please
read

Including the last lines…
I Wish I’d had the balls to have done that years ago,
But yes at least text/call to say what you are doing. and switch off phone to save battery.
Sounds like there’s a lot more to the story
Did he not know how to use a phone? Did he not think his family would be worried? What did he eat in two months? Were did he sleep?
All sounds very strange to me, but I’m glad he’s okay..
Sounds a right idiot typical youngster think of only themselves feel sorry for family who was worrying about selfish lad
So, whilst we have all been worried sick, he is having the life of Old Mother Riley. That’s the last time I shall look in my shed for a missing person.
Shut up
More than likely found a good women !!!
Weird behaviour for a 23 year old – slightly embarrassing for the family
Probably learnt more about himself and the world in those few weeks than school or Little Britain (outward looking ha) psyche ever did or could.. reminds me of Laurie Lee’s “I walked out one midsummer morning” book. Events like that open your eyes forevermore.. admittedly could have let his parents know he was ok 🙂
Take your meds, granddad
