VIDEO: Mini owners from across the South Coast and beyond are enjoying their very own Mini adventure on the Isle of Wight today (Sunday) thanks to Red Funnel.
Over 150 Minis – from classic to brand new and everything in-between – were transported across the Solent on a single car ferry sailing this morning for a day of sight seeing and an organised Island drive-out. The cars arrived in East Cowes at midday with much tooting of the horns.
Later on today, from 16:00 until 20:00, a big meet-up will take place at Compton Farm where Mini owners will share their stories with a beer garden, DJs and other entertainment. A show-and-shine competition with great prizes is also taking place.
To encourage Mini owners to head to the Island return car ferry crossings were offered by Red Funnel at just £10 per car.
